Effective October 21, 2026Cookie Policy
This page explains the cookies used on Evalynq's public marketing website (not the authenticated recruiter dashboard or the candidate assessment experience, which use only the strictly necessary cookies described below). See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data more broadly.
1
Strictly necessary cookies
- Session and sign-in cookies that let you stay signed in to your organization's dashboard or a candidate assessment attempt.
- A cookie recording your cookie choice itself, so we don't ask you again on every page.
- These are always on and cannot be disabled through the cookie banner — the site cannot function without them.
2
Analytics & marketing cookies (optional)
- Only used if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you click "Necessary only" instead, neither our analytics nor Google Analytics is enabled.
- Our first-party analytics uses a random visitor id (not your name, email, or account) to count visits and marketing-page actions. Google Analytics is also enabled on public marketing pages and the sign-up entry page after consent and may set its own first-party cookies, including
_ga and a measurement-specific _ga_* cookie. - We send Google Analytics a public page path and a generic site label, without query strings, fragments, or page titles. Google Analytics does not record activity on the recruiter dashboard, sign-in pages, candidate invitations, or timed assessments.
- If you arrive through a tagged campaign link, we may record its limited source, medium, and campaign labels. We do not store the full URL or unrelated query parameters.
- An approximate, country-level location resolved from your IP address at the moment of your visit — we do not store your IP address, and we never resolve location more precisely than your country.
- We disable Google advertising personalization and signals. Google receives analytics requests as a service provider and may process technical request data under its own terms. We do not sell this data or use it to build cross-site advertising profiles.
- Our first-party analytics records are kept for up to 13 months, then automatically deleted. Google Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 90 days; event-data retention is controlled separately in the Google Analytics property settings.
