How it works
How Evalynq pricing works.
01
Create an assessment
Build it with questions, practical tasks, or both. Account setup and drafts are free.
02
Activate live assessment
Pay offline and upload your receipt for verification and manual activation. A platform administrator may instead grant an eligible organization a one-time Early Access trial.
03
Invite candidates
Sending or opening an invitation is always free.
04
Candidates start
Each successful start uses one paid candidate start, or an expiring Early Access start if one was granted.
05
Review, shortlist, and invite to interview
Score against a rubric, review integrity evidence, release results. Shortlisting and sending an interview invitation are human decisions, included and never billed.
06
Managed? We help administer it
Evalynq can configure and run the process alongside your team.

Frequently asked questions
Pricing questions.
How does Early Access work?
Early Access is not automatic at signup. An eligible organization may receive a one-time grant from a platform administrator for one assessment and 1–10 candidate starts. The 30-day clock begins when the administrator grants it; unused trial starts expire then, while paid starts remain separate and do not expire. The grant waives payment only and does not bypass plan entitlements or limits. Without a grant, payment is verified offline before the platform administrator activates an assessment.
Self-Service customers pay for each assessment and each candidate who successfully starts it. A platform administrator must verify payment and activate the assessment before it goes live, unless an Early Access trial is explicitly granted.
How do I pay, and when does my assessment go live?
Choose how many candidate starts you need, pay offline (for example by bank transfer), and upload your payment proof. Evalynq verifies the payment and a platform administrator manually activates the assessment with the approved candidate starts. Early Access, when granted by a platform administrator, waives payment for one assessment and 1–10 starts for 30 days; it does not change your plan limits.
When is the candidate fee used?
One candidate start is used only when a candidate successfully starts. Paid starts do not expire; unused Early Access starts expire 30 days after the admin grant and are never converted to paid starts.
Do invitations cost money?
No. Sending or opening an invitation never uses a candidate start.
What happens if a candidate never starts?
Their start isn't used. It stays in your balance for another candidate, and you can top up whenever you need more.
What is a managed assessment?
Evalynq works with your organization to configure and administer the assessment process.
Does managed assessment include expert grading?
Not necessarily. Specialist review for technical or practical submissions may be priced separately, quoted based on the assessment type and review effort.
Can I pay in Ethiopian Birr?
Yes. Ethiopian customers can be invoiced in ETB based on Evalynq's current local billing rate.
Do you offer volume pricing?
Yes. Contact Evalynq for pricing on 50+ candidates or larger programs.
Can I still use Evalynq regularly?
Yes. Organizations with recurring or larger assessment needs can contact Evalynq for volume or enterprise arrangements.
